Not sure what you liked about the article. I thought the views were very parochial and outdated too.
Is there something systemic working against IITians in India? I don't think so. All these issues of caste-favoritism etc are really not a concern for this generation. I think, for the first time, India is very ready to encourage enterprise - that's definitely the key.
